Trade Satisfaction Probe

A Market Research Program for the Publishing Industry

Publications are always looking for a means to generate greater advertising revenues.  Some think they can increase revenues by going off their rate card or giving away pages with special deals.  We think the best way is to offer your advertisers our Trade Satisfaction Probe as a value added service.

Customer satisfaction has taken on increased importance among the business community in recent years.  Customer satisfaction, customer service and quality have become the rallying points of many businesses' marketing strategy.  This is illustrated by the high interest in the Malcolm Baldridge Award which is heavily based on customer satisfaction.  many organizations, whether they apply for the Baldridge Award or not, look at its criteria as the model for operating their business, and customer satisfaction is the measurement tool used to determine whether they are successful or not in fulfilling their quality strategies.

Since the recipients of your publication are the customers of the advertisers and the final judges of quality, a satisfaction measurement program is a natural measure of an advertiser's success.

the TSP program utilizes a mail methodology. Participants rate their satisfaction on a maximum of ten key determinants of satisfaction.  a maximum of 36 advertisers/companies are investigated per wave.  Each advertiser/company is evaluated by approximately 100 respondents.  Subsequent waves can include the same or different companies.

Services included in the TSP program:

Leonard Kirsch Research's assistance in developing the program, sample and questionnaire

Typesetting and printing field materials
